Earlier this week, Restore Hyper Wellness announced a unique partnership with Tim and Demi Tebow. Of course, we know that Tim as the legendary Denver Broncos quarterback and Demi-Leigh as Miss Universe 2017, but there’s much more to this power couple than star accolades. In fact, the Tebows seem to almost fly under the radar these days, preferring to drive their mission of faith, hope and love through the Tim Tebow Foundation. But because we’re such big fans of Tim and Demi-Leigh, we dug deep for some lesser known facts about what makes the Tebows great.

Tim Tebow loves a good avocado: He’s even been spotted eating guacamole, straight out of the container, sans chips. In a 2017 GQ article, Tebow professed his love for the super food. “It's a super food. And even if that's not your diet, it's incredible food for you. I put them in my smoothies, guacamole, a bunch of different things. For me it's more than just trying to stay in shape for sports, it's a way of life, of trying to be healthy. Also when so many of our next generation kids are just having sugar and carbs all the time, well, can we moderate that just a little bit? Pull that back a little bit? And one of the great alternatives can be avocados,” says Tebow. He went on to say that his average daily avocado intake is four, and that his avocado shopping bill reigns supreme.

Demi calls herself a proud Dog Mom: In early 2020, the Tebows decided it would be the perfect time to get a puppy, so they found a Dalmatian named Princess Paris. “On the way to picking Paris up, we were informed that she was hearing impaired so we decided that we would get her a companion… or two,” says Demi. Enter Chunk the Bernese Mountain Dog and Kobe the Golden Retriever, who alongside Paris, are now known as the “Tebow Pack.”

Tim Tebow is technically part of the Marvel Universe: Following Tebow’s meteoric rise during the 2011 NFL season, he was described by Marvel as “Nothing short of a superhero for his team this season, with his clutch performances and last minute comebacks propelling the club on an historic hot streak headed into the NFL postseason.” Marvel teamed up with ESPN to produce comic book-like superhero versions of Tebow that were shared by the NFL and SportsCenter (Marvel is owned by Disney, the parent company of ESPN.) Although Tebow doesn’t technically have his own comic book, he could still appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Whether that’s alongside Paul Rudd in an upcoming Ant-Man is TBD though.

Tim and Demi have their own jewelry line, named 153 Jewelry:  “We chose the name 1-5-3 because each number is special,” says the Tebows. “Together, One-Five-Three portrays the Gospel of Jesus, which gives our lives purpose, value and meaning. The numbers are also special because one of our favorite verses is John 15:13 which says, ‘Greater love has no one than this; to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.’” The jewelry line even consists of customizable pendants for added inspiration. “One of the necklaces that we came up with is a customizable necklace that you can personalize to say your name or someone else’s name (any word that means something to you!) Whether it’s a name or a word that inspires you, we hope it reminds you and gives you perspective,” says Demi-Leigh.

Tim Tebow has been impersonated on Saturday Night Live, twice: In 2011, SNL actor Taran Killam played Tim Tebow in the “Locker Room” sketch, followed by “Motion Capture” in 2013. In addition, Tebow has been mentioned on “Weekend Update” in a Stephen A. Smith impersonation by Jay Pharaoh.
