Silvia Garcia Maggio serves as Regulatory and Compliance Counsel at Restore Hyper Wellness, and when she’s not reading documents for legal review, she’s running. A lot. Earlier this year, Silvia completed the “Dopey Challenge” at Walt Disney World, running a total of 48.6 miles in one weekend. How did she do it? Read on.
What’s your favorite part of working for Restore?
Being part of a mission-driven organization that helps people live better lives, and also no longer being the office weirdo for regularly consuming greens.
How has Restore helped to fuel your passion outside of work?
I used a lot of Restore services training for the "Dopey Challenge" where you run a 5k, 10k, Half and Full Marathon on four consecutive days (at Walt Disney World!) I had a lot of Local Cryotherapy and Red Light Therapy to help my body maintain high mileage with a foot injury. During the race weekend, my husband and I both utilized Whole Body Cryotherapy, Red Light Therapy and Compression to recover and prep in between the half and full marathon. At the starting line of the full marathon, I felt better physically than I had before any of the other races despite the mileage on my feet already.
Have you won any titles/accolades?
Nope but I ran 48.6 miles in a weekend and was fully recovered in two days so I'll take it!

Infrared Sauna
Where do you see yourself in five years with your passion outside of Restore?
Working at Restore has inspired me to get my health coach certification so I envision taking on more fitness challenges and also helping more people do more of what they love through healthy living both in and out of office!
